Preparations are underway for the next Symphony event. This is a perfect time to join the orchestra - community musicians are welcome and encouraged to join Ontario's own symphony orchestra. Contact Dr. Mann for information.

Community musician rehearsals are Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary during the regular symphony season.. Visit Southand Symphony for more info.

Bethel's pastor, Dr. Sylvia Lee Mann is a composer, conductor and virtuoso performer, appearing with many orchestras in the Southern California area. In addition to her positions as Music Director and Conductor of Southland Symphony Orchestra,  CSUDH Orchestra and San Gabriel Valley Symphony Orchestra, she serves on the faculty at California State University Dominguez Hills campus, is the Pastor as well as the Minister of Music at the Bethel UCC Congregational Church of Ontario,CA; Artistic Director of Betthel Arts and the Southland Symphony Chorus. She is a popular guest conductor for the Culver City Symphony Orchestra, the Coachella Valley Symphony Orchestra and the Inland Valley Symphony, among others. She is a performer with The Chamber Orchestra of the South Bay, The Rio Hondo, La Mirada, Peninsula and Southeast Symphony Orchestras, and is principal violist of the Culver City Symphony, Marina del Rey & Beach Cities Symphony Orchestras. Dr. Mann has been recognized by the City of West Covina, County of Los Angeles, and L.A. County Fair as a “Community Hero” for her work in the arts, and received “Woman of the Year in the Arts” awards from the California State Legislature and the US House of Representatives.
